The MINI 0.1 micron filter uses a cluster of microfibrous tubes using similar technology found in medical dialysis. As the water passes through the side walls of the pipes, harmful bacteria and protozoa are trapped on the outer walls, so you can be sure your water is safe to drink.
Capable of removing 7 log99.99999% of bacteria (such as salmonella) as well as other harmful bacteria that cause cholera and E. coli and 6 log (99.9999%) of protozoa such as giardia and cryptosporidium. These removal rates equal or exceed other filter options. EPA guidelines allow ten times more protozoa to remain in the water than Sawyer Mini filters, it also filters 100% of microplastics.
Flexible and light to use, the second generation Mini Sawyer is almost the size of the palm of your hand and weighs only 57g. You can also adapt it to water bottles directly (28mm thread).
